Tropical Storm Irene Showing at Library @7pm

Gareth Henderson from Pentangle reminded us of a presentation this evening at the Norman Williams Public Library in Woodstock for some of you may have missed it the first time around….

This is “show” of photographs put together by the Woodstock History Center that was shown at the Town Hall after the Village Green Community Dinner.

Some of us missed it because we were still dancing or eating or chatting, etc. Here’s your chance to — once again — review the “Before” and “After” scenes from that August 28th, 2011 event.

Tropical Storm Irene: One Year Later – Showing at Library

For those of you who weren’t able to make the first showing on Aug. 28, you have another chance to catch “Tropical Storm Irene: One Year Later,” at Norman Williams Public Library at 7 pm tonight. This film is the Woodstock History Center’s creation, that offers a touching local perspective on Irene, the aftermath, and the recovery effort.
