Some folks are unhappy with Woodstock Early Bird’s “castigating” Romney Visit posts and comments because OMG she expressed political opinion.
We’re happy to say we wrote exactly what we intended to write in exactly the tone we set out to write. And there will always be more.
Anyone who hasn’t picked up on the fact that Woodstock Early Bird has ALWAYS been a fact-based blog written with a point-of-view has certainly missed the bus.
We have no delusions that anyone will always agree or even mostly agree with what we write.But we will continue to write with a personal point-of-view.
For those who would like to continue reading about what they know best: the opinions of middle-aged conservative men (really it’s more like a forum for “Grumpy Old Men”) we refer you to several columns available in the Vermont Standard every week.
Woodstock Early Bird offers an alternative.
We thank those who appreciate that difference and continue to support us.
We understand and appreciate different points of view delivered respectfully in comment sections.
Update: The writer of a comment that was posted below has asked that it be removed from this post, which Woodstock Early Bird has done.
Privately we have explained that since Woodstock Early Bird puts out her opinions for public view, commenters views will also be posted for the public to see.
