So Woodstock Early Bird was just innocently doing her laundry and checking in with a few key sources when she witnessed an accident waiting to happen: The convergence — just like a bad driver ed movie — of a tour bus not able to properly make a turn into the overflow “Jungle” parking lot and preparing to back up JUST as an over-sized load was also coming through town around Maplefield’s Corner (We KNOW, it’s not really Maplefield’s Corner, but everyone with an institutional memory is getting on)….
In any case, factor in that our NEW police cruiser (and its occupant) just happened to be ON SCENE at the critical moment, flashing the BLUES and allowing the tour bus to do its back-up business before the passing of the wide load. Phew!
