Woodstock Early Bird Sponsors Make a Difference!

We’d like to check in with you to welcome and thank our sponsors/advertisers. No matter how small or large, their support (and our collective support of THEIR businesses) make a difference. We love keeping things local!

1.  Woodstock Farm Kennel on the Quechee-Hartland Road has just joined us. With all sorts of foliage activities and trips, holidays coming up, we hope you’ll think of Cathy and her family at Woodstock Farm Kennel (on the Quechee-Hartland Road) for “awesome” care of your canine buddies. Woodstock Early Bird will be entrusting her dog’s care to Woodstock Farm Kennel in the near future.  Check out their website for some information and pic’s of some happy looking “canine campers” (WEB’s dog particularlyliked the tennis ball supply and accompanying “tennis ball court”  high on a hill veranda — great for proudly sniffing the Vermont air!)

2. Mon Vert Cafe has just upped their support of Woodstock Early Bird with a program of providing “The Bird” with well-made caffeinated beverages. We certainly appreciate their continued encouragement — from the get go — of our “little” project.  We also appreciate their making sure we get our “greens.”  For Fall Cameron and Laura (and Jack) are featuring homemade soups, a new iceberg/blue cheese disc salad, hot cider and gluten-free bread and baked goods.

3. Veremedy Pet Hospital has been our “sour-dough starter” having gotten on board in support of Woodstock Early Bird very early on. We appreciate their professionalism and kindness in dealing with (and sometimes even saving the lives of) the animals we love and their encouragement of our hyperlocal news and information blog.  We might add that they did their due diligence using a Tuck media advisor who noted the very real statistics we offer: Now some 1000 “views” a day, with a distinct 750 alert subscribers.

You’ll find links to these businesses to the right of various Woodstock Early Bird news posts. Their support (and your future business support?) pays for internet access, various smartphones, laptops, Ipads and other ommunications devices and yes, even rent for a modest office,  centrally located in  the Village in order to pursue all stories great and small as they occur.

4. You! Woodstock Early Bird has ALSO been able to provide news and information because of YOU,  the at-home or the on-the-go reader via some 30 distinct donations. If you haven’t shown your financial support of this news endeavour, feel free to donate via our PayPal button using a credit card or by sending a good old-fashioned “snail mail” check to: “Woodstock Early Bird”, PO Box 659, Woodstock, VT 05091. We are very local. We live here and so do you. Are you getting the very local information you value anywhere else?

Our costs a relatively low, but we DO have them!
