Huh, we didn’t think of that….We see the Rutland Herald, reporting on an Emergency Meeting over there on the other side of the mountain, suggesting that it might be a good idea — as part of storm prep — to take down all your political signage. You know, those HUGE banners you might have hanging on your big barn, perhaps in violation of Village ordinance anyway….or those flimsy thingy signs with the pointy things that could go a flyin’…
Nothing like getting poked in the eye with a Romney or an Obama sign. Insulting depending on who you plan to vote for President. And heaven forbid that Rep. Alison Clarkson should have to answer for the maimage by signage of her electorate.
BTW, is Rep. Alison Clarkson really running for the Vermont House unopposed? We spent some time with someone yesterday who was “sporting” the t-shirt to the left: “Back Jack” Hmmm, makes ‘ya wonder, doesn’t it?
We also noticed Clarkson in the River Street Cemetary last night, maybe trying to drum up some votes from the long departed? Nah, but she has been hoofing it to EVERY SINGLE HOUSE all over town. The woman in red….Break into song everyone….Or not.
As you were…back to storm prep.
