SUMMARY OF CRASH: At approximately 9:30 AM a 63 year old female from Woodstock, VT was travelling east on Woodstock Road and apparently crossed the center line, striking and ripping off the rear wheel of a single axle utility trailer that was in tow, driven by 71 year old Roger Cann of Macungie, PA who was travelling west. The female then struck, head-on a second vehicle also travelling west driven by 38 year old Corey Daniels of Hartford, VT. Daniels was pronounced dead at the scene. The 63 year old female was pronounced dead at Dartmouth Hitchock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Both Daniels and the 63 year old female required extrication from their vehicles by the Hartford Fire Department. An Accident Reconstruction Team from Vermont State Police was called in to assist. The road was closed for several hours while the Vermont Agency of Transportation rerouted traffic.
