In case you missed the big splashy centerfold in The Vermont Standard, Woodstock Early Bird wanted to let you know The Hartland Diner is now OPEN. Daily consistent hours 7am-2pm. Breakfast all day. Woodstock Early Bird sampled a wrap made just the way she likes it (without all the fussy onions and veggies and such). Made to order and delicious: Crunchy tortilla with perfect eggs and, of course, some Vermont cheddar thrown in. Vegetarian options on the menu. Special menu for kids which includes: Micky Mouse Pancake! How great is that. Note: We welcome The Hartland Diner as both an advertiser and a part-time employer of Woodstock Early Bird! C’mon down. The WASP is for sale and there is some interest out there we hear. But, yes , since Jill was the current WASP owner and she is now at Hartland Diner, the WASP is for the moment CLOSED. We understand Pam may be found at the Quechee Diner.

Really great Omelet. Fresh jalapenos and YES cilantro on top! WOW. Endless cup of Joe was needed b/c I think I beat Yogi Garcia by 3 mins, arrived at 5:52 to be the FIRST one at the counter on opening day! Even though it’s a good 1/2 hour from Barnard, I will definitely be back soon!

BIG SNAPS to John Snyder because, yes, he was OUR VERY FIRST CUSTOMER. Must give the love to Snyder (should have taken a pic – I will do that upon your return!). Snyder is right, Yogi was hot on his heels and so Yogi wins our award for First Repeat Customer since he was back in Friday morning.
