Are you sure it wasn’t a watch upgraded to a warning? That’s how it works. A watch is issued by the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK, and warnings are issued by the local forecast offices as conditions warrant this. Check out http://www.spc.noaa.gov for lots of good info.
I’m from Woodstock and live in Norman, OK, and my husband, Greg, works at the SPC.
I’m really enjoying keeping up with Woodstock’s news through the Early Bird.

You are totally correct…went in the wrong direction…As you see we immediately posted an update that sent us back in the more severe direction!
