SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On the above date and time Vermont State Police received a report of gun shots from the Park and Ride in the Town of Hartland.
When Trooper arrived they found a shotgun cartridge on the ground in the area where witnesses told them the shooting occurred.
With the assistance of Windsor Police, Hartford Police and Springfield Police, the people involved were located. Investigation revealed Justin Paquette discharged a shotgun after a disagreement with another man in the parking lot and gave false statements to Troopers about the incident.
The weapon used in the incident was seized. Paquette was cited for providing False Information to Law Enforcement and Reckless Endangerment.
