It is amazing what you can find out there. For example, Google “meteors” and you can get yourself outfitted with a “Meteor Kit” so you can go into the wilds looking for remnants of fused space debris. One website read by Woodstock Early Bird remarks that — so far — Vermont is one of only four states in the U.S.where meteor “finds” have NOT been documented. So, there ‘ya go. Vermont State Police indicate they will not be pursuing the “flash” after last night’s excitement.
For the moment, “our” flash of February 28th HAS been reported by various New Anglanders at this site:

Enjoy. We love those folks who see a green flash in the sky, process, shrug and just return to their barca-loungers. The scientifically minded and informed can be so lacking when it comes to imagining the imminent off-loading of little green men (and women?) into our Vermont hills.
